Clinical Research Coordinator – Onsite in Okinawa, Japan

About the role

Arcetyp LLC is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator to work onsite in Okinawa, Japan. The role supports U.S. Federal Government and military research projects by managing data collection and ensuring compliance with study protocols.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and participate in clinical research studies, handling complex data collection, compilation, documentation, and analysis.
• Implement procedures for gathering data from patient charts, medical records, interviews, questionnaires, diagnostic tests, and other sources.
• Assist in establishing guidelines for clinical data collection and study administration.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years recent experience as a Clinical Research Coordinator, or relevant certification (CCTI, CCRC, CCRP).
• 2‑4 years of monitoring experience in a clinical research environment and experience with Institutional Review Board (IRB) processes.
• Active/current Secret security clearance and U.S. citizenship.
• Ability to complete CITTI research subject protection training within one month of start date.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Windows operating systems.
• Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
