Clinical Research Coordinator, On-Site

About the role

A fully on-site Clinical Research Coordinator position in Bountiful, Utah, with Avacare, a Site Management Organization (SMO). CRCs work across multiple therapeutic areas, manage complex protocols and own key trial activities, from patient recruitment and informed consent to regulatory documentation and site audits. The role suits those who want broad responsibility and growth toward clinical operations and monitoring.

Key responsibilities

• Manage 2 to 6 trials of varying complexity and lead study coordination from start to finish
• Perform clinical procedures and obtain informed consent
• Work closely with investigators, sponsors and monitors
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to internal training

Required profile

• CRC I: minimum 1 to 3 years in a clinical research setting at a clinical investigative site working with participants
• CRC II: minimum 3 years as a Clinical Research Coordinator at a clinical investigative site
• Solid understanding of site operations and the drug development process
• Strong written and verbal communication, attention to detail and time management

Required skills

• Hands-on experience obtaining vital signs, performing phlebotomy, conducting ECGs and processing lab specimens
• Comfortable using CTMS, eCRFs and Microsoft Office tools

The potential base pay range, when annualized, is $36,600 to $91,300, depending on qualifications, location and schedule. Incentive plans, bonuses and other benefits may also apply.
