Clinical Research Coordinator

About the role

Avacare, a Site Management Organization (SMO) run by IQVIA, is hiring a Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) for an on-site role in Covington, Louisiana. Candidates must be able to travel from Covington to Kenner, Louisiana. The CRC manages 2 to 6 trials of varying complexity, from patient recruitment and informed consent through regulatory documentation and site audits, and mentors junior staff.

Required profile

• CRC I: minimum 1 to 3 years in a clinical research setting at a clinical investigative site working with participants.
• CRC II: minimum 3 years as a Clinical Research Coordinator at a clinical investigative site working with participants.
• Solid understanding of site operations and the drug development process.
• Strong written and verbal communication, attention to detail and time management.

Required skills

• Hands-on experience obtaining vital signs, performing phlebotomy, conducting ECGs and processing lab specimens.
• Proficiency in pediatric phlebotomy, including infants.
• Comfortable using CTMS, eCRFs and Microsoft Office tools.

The potential base pay range, when annualized, is $37,800 to $94,500, depending on qualifications, location and schedule. Incentive plans, bonuses and other benefits may also apply.
