About the role

The University of Miami, Bascom Palmer Eye Institute seeks a full‑time Clinical Program Coordinator (H) to support departmental programs, oversee daily activities, and help meet financial and operational goals.

Key responsibilities

  • Evaluate program effectiveness, analyze results, and recommend actions.
  • Coordinate program activities with other departments to ensure efficiency.
  • Serve as primary contact for funders, speakers, participants, and recruit volunteers.
  • Develop communications, promotional literature, and periodic reports.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and oversee supply levels.
  • Provide clinical support, manage patient scheduling, and assist physicians with workflow.

Required profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience; medical assistant training preferred.
  • Strong oral and written communication, ability to handle stressful situations, and maintain effective interpersonal relationships.
