Clinical Program Coordinator – AYA Program

About the role

The University of Miami Health System is seeking a full‑time Clinical Program Coordinator to lead the Adolescent and Young Adult (AYA) program within the UMHC/SCCC unit. The coordinator will design, implement and evaluate health‑promotion and educational initiatives for patients and their families, ensuring alignment with the institution’s mission.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, organize, produce and evaluate a variety of health‑promotion and educational programs for patients in the assigned unit.
• Oversee daily program operations, including supervision of volunteers and maintenance of supply levels.
• Monitor financial performance, prepare budgets, and generate periodic financial statements and reports.
• Analyze program effectiveness, prepare evaluation reports, and recommend improvements.
• Coordinate activities with other departments to maximize efficiency.
• Serve as primary contact for funders, advisors, speakers, participants, and recruit volunteers.
• Create promotional materials such as newsletters, brochures, and flyers.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to university policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum two years of experience in program coordination, health promotion, or related areas.
