Clinical Pharmacy Coordinator (Remote)

About the role

The Clinical Pharmacy Coordinator supports the pharmacy review department by managing the flow of case requests, preparing materials for reviewers, and communicating outcomes to clients and providers. This remote position ensures that each pharmacy case is processed efficiently and accurately.

Key responsibilities

• Screen incoming pharmacy review requests for completeness and required documentation.
• Prepare, organize, and distribute case materials to appropriate reviewers.
• Identify and assign suitable reviewers, confirming their availability.
• Contact clients to obtain missing information, resolve questions, and support active cases.
• Respond to reviewer requests for additional data and notify relevant parties.
• Conduct outreach via fax and phone to gather necessary information.
• Handle inbound calls from medical professionals regarding case status or additional details.
• Maintain an in‑house review file for each active pharmacy case.
• Issue oral and written review outcome notifications that meet compliance standards.

Required profile

• Experience with pharmacy case review processes or similar clinical review workflows.
• Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients, reviewers, and healthcare providers.
