Clinical Pharmacist – Full‑Time (Fri‑Sun, 10:30 am‑9 pm)

About the role

The pharmacy team is seeking a full‑time Clinical Pharmacist to work weekend evenings, providing medication order fulfillment, therapy monitoring, and drug information to a diverse patient population.

Key responsibilities

• Fill medication orders and prepare IV admixtures.
• Monitor patient medication therapies across pediatric, adult, geriatric, and skilled‑nursing settings.
• Provide accurate drug information to clinicians and patients.
• Supervise and direct pharmacy support personnel.
• Assume pharmacy manager duties when the manager is absent.
• Operate pharmacy equipment and computer systems, handling frequent interruptions and emergency requests.

Required profile

• Licensed Pharmacist by the North Carolina Board of Pharmacy.
• Graduate of an ACPE‑accredited pharmacy school; Pharm.D preferred.
• Hospital experience preferred but not required.
• Physical ability to perform repetitive hand motions, lift up to 50 lb, and stand, walk, or kneel for extended periods.
• Capability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to handle potential exposure to infectious patients, hazardous substances, and needle sticks.
