About the role

The Division of Behavioral Health and Recovery is hiring a licensed Registered Nurse to lead and supervise a medical program unit at the Chester Mental Health Center. This full‑time, salaried position oversees nursing staff and ensures high‑quality health care for adult male patients requiring structured, secure treatment.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise professional nursing staff on an assigned shift, managing daily operations of the medical program unit.
• Administer health care services, coordinate patient care plans, and ensure compliance with state regulations and facility policies.
• Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment and support patients in achieving recovery goals.

Required profile

• Active Registered Nurse license (Special License – Registered Nurse).
• Experience in behavioral health or correctional health settings is preferred.
• Ability to work a fixed schedule: 7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m., Monday‑Friday with occasional weekend rotation.
