Clinical Nurse – Hospital at Home (Days)

About the role

The Hospital at Home program at Tampa General Hospital seeks a dedicated Clinical Nurse to provide day‑shift nursing care in patients' homes. Working under general supervision, you will deliver safe, evidence‑based care while supporting patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and document nursing assessments and interventions.
• Identify and report situations that require additional medical attention.
• Develop and communicate goal‑directed care plans, ensuring patient rights are upheld.
• Collaborate closely with physicians, staff, patients, and families.
• Perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and managing exposure to bodily fluids in home settings.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Florida.
• Minimum three years of RN experience.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
