About the role

The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) for the Central Telemetry unit ensures high‑quality, patient‑centered care and coordinates all unit functions during the assigned shift. Working within a collaborative management team, the CNC supports efficient admission and discharge processes, quality assessment, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with patient admission and discharge to maintain efficient throughput and high‑quality care.
• Participate in ongoing assessment of unit care quality in partnership with management.
• Foster teamwork by collaborating with subject‑matter experts and other managers.
• Implement patient‑first initiatives and service recovery when needed.
• Operationalize nursing strategies such as employee rounding and hourly rounds.
• Provide recommendations for interviewing, selecting, training, and evaluating staff.
• Manage staff scheduling, labor productivity, and compliance with personnel policies.
• Oversee inventory control and support practical aspects of supply management.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse with experience in telemetry or cardiac monitor settings.
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate unit functions and lead nursing staff.
• Strong collaboration skills with management and interdisciplinary teams.
