Clinical Manager, Per Diem

About the role

The Clinical Manager is a qualified and licensed healthcare professional supporting the Local Staffing, Travel Nurses, Allied Health and Locums divisions. The role manages candidate qualifications and credentialing so that qualified candidates are placed in the right practice setting, and supports strategic initiatives that drive operational excellence, customer engagement and retention. Work is done in an office or home-office environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead workgroups for Managed Services Provider account implementations and communicate standard processes clearly and professionally.
• Present reasons for improving client processes to boost service delivery, cut costs and reduce risk in line with business goals.
• Coordinate with the Sales division on client and clinician situations.
• Provide primary clinical support to assigned clients, including Associate Vendors, by working with facility key contacts on clinical processes and concerns.
• Respond urgently to customer concerns that threaten assignment completion, coordinating with internal sales, operations leaders and partners.
• Know AMN policies and the relevant facility, state, federal and accreditation standards.
• Troubleshoot assignment issues by investigating with clinicians, clients and internal departments.
• Oversight the performance evaluation process and recognise clinicians for superior performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing plus 5-7 years of work experience.
• Registered Nurse experience (travel nurse preferred).
• Direct supervisory or management experience.
• Staffing experience.
• Ability to use standard office equipment and keyboards; reasonable accommodations are offered.

Pay is $48.00-$57.00 per hour, depending on experience, training, education and location. Candidates are expected to visit an AMN Healthcare office regularly depending on their work arrangement.
