Clinical Director – Retreat Style Recovery Center

About the role

We are seeking an experienced, mission‑driven Clinical Director to lead the launch of Camp Baer, a new retreat‑style substance‑use disorder treatment center opening in November 2026. This senior leader will shape the clinical culture, build a high‑performing team, and ensure an evidence‑based, person‑centered patient experience from day one.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day leadership and oversight of the clinical department.
• Establish and maintain a therapeutic culture focused on dignity, accountability, connection, and long‑term recovery.
• Design and implement evidence‑based, trauma‑informed, individualized clinical programming.
• Oversee assessments, treatment planning, individual and group therapy, family engagement, discharge planning, and continuing‑care coordination.
• Ensure clinical services align with patient needs, treatment plans, and appropriate levels of care.
• Participate as an active member of the interdisciplinary treatment team.
• Collaborate with Wise Path Recovery Centers and Ascension Recovery Services leadership to shape workflows and patient experience.

Required profile

• Significant experience in clinical leadership within behavioral health or substance‑use disorder treatment.
• Demonstrated ability to build and develop high‑performing clinical teams.
• Strong commitment to mission‑driven, evidence‑based care.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to foster collaboration across disciplines.
