Clinical Customer Care Pharmacist

About the role
Join Amazon Pharmacy’s Clinical Customer Care team and serve as the primary clinical resource for customers and internal agents. You will provide real‑time medication guidance, resolve clinical inquiries, and help ensure a safe, high‑quality pharmacy experience.
Key responsibilities
- Answer phone and email inquiries about drug interactions, adverse reactions, new medication counseling, and omitted doses.
- Respond to overnight voicemails and support Customer Care agents with clinical questions.
- Process Zendesk tickets, including packet approvals, shipping adjustments, email responses, and callback requests.
- Investigate and report potential quality events or PHI breaches.
- Research and recommend over‑the‑counter products.
- Handle prescription transfers, verify prescriptions, liaise with medical offices, and perform billing‑related tasks.
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of PillPack and Amazon Pharmacy policies, products, and services while safeguarding customer confidentiality.
Required profile
- Active, unrestricted pharmacist license in Arizona, New Hampshire, or Massachusetts.
- Bachelor’s degree in science or a PharmD.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to apply clinical knowledge quickly and work autonomously.
- Critical thinking and problem‑solving orientation.
Required skills
- Zendesk ticketing system.
- Familiarity with multiple pharmacy software platforms.
