Clinical Customer Care Pharmacist

About the role

Amazon Pharmacy is building the future of pharmacy through technology and a customer‑centric approach. The Clinical Customer Care Pharmacist joins a dedicated team that provides clinical guidance to customers and supports the broader Customer Care operation.

Key responsibilities

• Answer phone and email inquiries about drug interactions, adverse reactions, medication counseling, and prescription omissions.
• Respond to overnight voicemails and Zendesk tickets, including packet approvals, shipping adjustments, and callback requests.
• Investigate and report potential quality‑related events or PHI breaches.
• Research and recommend over‑the‑counter products.
• Handle prescription transfers, verify prescriptions with medical offices, and perform billing‑related tasks.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of PillPack and Amazon Pharmacy policies, products, and services while ensuring confidentiality of customer information.

Required profile

• Active, unrestricted pharmacist license in Arizona, New Hampshire, or Massachusetts.
• Residence in the licensed state with ability to commute to the office if needed.
• Bachelor’s degree in science or PharmD.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to apply clinical knowledge in real‑time customer interactions.
