About the role

The University of Miami/UHealth Neurology department is seeking a full‑time Clinical Business Operations Representative 2 to support daily clinical workflows on a hybrid schedule. The role focuses on efficient patient intake, record management, and coordination of pre‑ and post‑care activities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage patient demographic, insurance, and referral information, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
• Answer multiple department phones, triage calls, document messages, and direct inquiries to appropriate staff.
• Schedule, confirm, and coordinate patient appointments, tests, and procedures.
• Obtain pre‑authorizations for medications and procedures under nurse/physician supervision.
• Prepare and organize patient records, imaging studies, and reports for visits.
• Provide courteous front‑desk service, greeting visitors and routing them appropriately.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to university policies and asset safeguards.

• Ability to work collaboratively with physicians, staff, and trainees.
• Flexibility to provide coverage for co‑workers as needed.
