Clinical Business Operations Representative 2 – Cellular Therapy

About the role

The University of Miami/UHealth Department of Medicine seeks a full‑time Clinical Business Operations Representative 2 to support pre‑ and post‑patient care on the UHealth campus. The role involves administrative, receptionist, and patient‑service functions in a fast‑paced clinical environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the department in managing expectations surrounding pre‑ and post‑patient care.
• Obtain and review patient demographic, insurance, and referral information.
• Review clinical records for completeness, including authorizations and signatures.
• Answer multiple telephone lines, triage calls, respond to inquiries, and document messages.
• Greet visitors, handle inquiries, and direct them to appropriate staff.
• Collaborate with colleagues to solve problems and ensure efficient practice flow.
• Provide coverage for co‑workers as needed.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience.
• Strong data‑entry accuracy and ability to analyze data.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Willingness to work evenings, nights, and weekends as required.
• Ability to work independently or in a collaborative environment.
