Class A Local Driver

About the role

Martin Brower is hiring a full-time Class A driver in Oklahoma City. The driver operates commercial vehicles on local routes, delivers products to local customers and handles preloaded trucks and palletized deliveries. Route pay is paid per route, and the fleet is described as newer with innovative technology.

Key responsibilities

• Operate a commercial motor vehicle safely and professionally, delivering products courteously to customers
• Unload and deliver products to local customers
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment and vehicle
• Securely operate Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT) and/or material handling equipment such as an electric pallet jack and/or hand truck
• Carry out other duties as assigned

Required profile

• At least 1 year of Class A commercial driving experience, or equivalent military driving experience
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License
• Able to lift products regularly from 25 to 50 pounds and up to 170 pounds
• At least 21 years old
• Preferred: High School Diploma or GED
