Fleet Manager for E‑Scooters and E‑Bikes

About the role

The Fleet Manager is a critical logistical role essential to Bird's success in Oklahoma City. You will be responsible for the local fleet of e‑scooters and e‑bikes, ensuring they are charged, safe, and positioned correctly to meet community transportation needs.

Key responsibilities

• Fleet Transportation: Use your vehicle(s) to collect, deploy, relocate, and retrieve e‑scooters and e‑bikes across the city daily.
• Fleet Maintenance: Perform timely repairs and general maintenance to uphold brand standards and rider safety.
• Operational Management: Oversee end‑to‑end operation of your assigned portfolio, keeping vehicles available in high‑demand areas.
• Field Execution: Problem‑solve in real time, prioritize tasks, and navigate local geography efficiently.

Required profile

• Vehicle Access: Own or have consistent access to a large van or truck.
• Storage Space: Access to a garage, warehouse, or commercial facility with electricity (preferred).
• License: Valid Class 5 driver’s license (or applicable commercial license) with a clean record.
• Physical Ability: Lift up to 50 lb repeatedly and stand, bend, walk for long periods.
• Availability: Flexible schedule with regular weekend work.
• Tech‑savvy: Comfortable learning new mobile tools to locate and manage the fleet.
• Local Knowledge: Strong familiarity with Oklahoma City geography.
