Child Care Assistant Teacher (Part-Time)

About the role

BrightPath Kids is seeking a part‑time Child Care Assistant Teacher to support children from 6 weeks to 12 years in a nurturing, home‑like environment. No prior classroom experience is required because paid training on all classroom procedures will be provided.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure the safety and supervision of children at all times.
• Assist lead teachers with instructional activities and classroom management.
• Decorate and maintain both indoor and outdoor classroom spaces as needed.
• Keep the environment clean, warm, and conducive to exploration and learning.
• Engage children in activities that promote their development.
• Communicate effectively with parents or guardians about each child’s progress and needs.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Strong customer‑service orientation.
• Ability to multitask, stay organized, and work within regular operating hours.
• Must meet state criteria for child‑care employment.
