Child and Adolescent Therapist – SiSW, LPC-R

About the role

Blackbird Health is seeking an Associate/Provisionally Licensed Therapist to provide evidence‑based mental health services to children, adolescents, young adults and their caregivers. The role includes full clinical supervision and administrative support, with a guaranteed caseload and opportunities for professional growth.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality, evidence‑based therapy to patients in an onsite, interdisciplinary team environment.
• Participate in board‑approved clinical supervision toward independent licensure.
• Maintain a scheduled clinical availability of 36 hours per week, supporting 28 direct‑care hours.
• Adhere to core evening and weekend hours to meet peak demand.

Required profile

• Active provisionally licensed credential in Virginia (e.g., SiSW, LPC‑R) working toward independent licensure.
• At least 1 year of experience providing care to children, adolescents, or young adults.
• Commitment to 100% onsite attendance for supervision and team collaboration.
• Availability after 3:00 PM ET on weekdays and/or weekends.

Required skills

• Knowledge of evidence‑based therapeutic modalities for youth.
• Ability to document sessions and use electronic medical record systems.
