Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist

About the role

UT Southwestern Medical Center is seeking a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist for its Pediatric Consult-Liaison Services at Children's Medical Center in Plano. The service provides integrated clinical care to all pediatric inpatient units, the pediatric ICU, pediatric neurology, other sub-specialties, ambulatory clinics and the emergency department. The position also offers opportunities to supervise trainees and take part in the department's academic mission.

Required profile

• Board certification or eligibility in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
• Experience assessing and treating children and adolescents, including medical patients with cognitive, behavioral and emotional needs and their medical management.
• Texas licensure is not required to apply but is needed to start; a commitment to an academic career is preferred.
