Chief Operating Officer

About the role

The Museum of Ice Cream (MOIC) is seeking a Chief Operating Officer to partner directly with the CEO and drive disciplined execution across all parts of the business. This builder role will translate creative ambition into operational reality while preserving the brand’s joyful culture.

Key responsibilities

• Align and integrate operations, finance, people, marketing, production, technology, construction, and guest experience functions.
• Develop and enforce systems, communication protocols, and leadership infrastructure to support rapid growth.
• Translate company vision into actionable plans, performance expectations, and measurable business objectives.
• Scale the organization into new markets while maintaining hospitality standards and brand culture.
• Provide strategic partnership to the CEO, acting as the connective leader across the enterprise.

Required profile

• Proven experience in fast‑growth, founder‑led environments.
• Ability to bring structure without creating bureaucracy.
• Track record of navigating complexity and scaling organizations.
• Deep understanding of hospitality operations and large‑scale execution.
• Strong leadership alignment skills while preserving creative energy and culture.
