Chief Operating Officer (COO) – Operations Leader

About the role

hellocare is seeking an on‑site Chief Operating Officer to lead daily operations and scale its AI‑driven virtual care platform across the United States. Reporting directly to the CEO and Founder, the COO will ensure operational excellence, drive efficiency, and support the company’s mission to transform healthcare delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute operational strategies aligned with growth objectives.
• Streamline workflows and processes to enhance scalability and efficiency.
• Oversee timely implementation of virtual care solutions for healthcare partners.
• Collaborate with product, finance, sales, and clinical teams to ensure cross‑functional alignment.
• Build and lead a high‑performing operations team, fostering accountability and innovation.
• Establish and monitor KPIs to drive continuous improvement.
• Strengthen client relationships with healthcare systems and partners.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and mitigate operational risks.
• Participate in strategic planning with the executive team.

Required profile

• Senior executive experience in operations leadership, preferably in health‑tech or healthcare services.
• Proven track record of process optimization and scaling complex operations.
• Strong ability to manage cross‑functional teams and drive results.
• Excellent stakeholder management and client relationship skills.
• Deep understanding of healthcare regulations and risk management.
