About the role

The Museum of Ice Cream is seeking a visionary Chief Operating Officer to partner with the CEO in scaling its experiential entertainment brand. This builder role will translate creative ambition into disciplined execution across operations, finance, people, marketing, production, technology, construction, and guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the CEO’s strategic partner, aligning cross‑functional teams around shared priorities and growth objectives.
• Design and implement operational systems, processes, and infrastructure that support rapid expansion while preserving brand magic.
• Oversee finance, people, marketing, production, construction, technology, and guest experience functions to ensure cohesive execution.
• Drive organizational alignment, performance expectations, and accountability without stifling creativity.
• Lead the development of leadership pipelines and culture initiatives that sustain the company’s energetic environment.

Required profile

• Proven experience scaling fast‑growth, founder‑led organizations, preferably in hospitality, entertainment, or consumer‑facing sectors.
• Strong track record of building structure, processes, and teams in high‑velocity environments.
• Ability to balance operational rigor with creative freedom and maintain a vibrant company culture.
• Exceptional strategic thinking, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills.

Required skills

• Experience with organizational design, process optimization, and performance management.
• Deep understanding of hospitality‑focused guest experience and brand scaling.
