Chief of Staff to CFO

About the role

LILALila Sciences is looking for a high‑judgment Chief of Staff to partner directly with the Chief Financial Officer. You will be the central point for aligning finance, people, operations, marketing and strategy initiatives, ensuring the CFO’s time and focus drive the company’s next growth phase.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the CFO to prioritize and sequence high‑leverage work across finance, HR, operations, marketing and strategy.
• Design and manage the CFO’s operating cadence, including meetings, planning cycles and decision‑making processes.
• Prepare briefing materials, context and recommendations for leadership discussions, vendor negotiations and operating reviews.
• Track, advance and close CFO‑owned projects from concept through execution.
• Drive follow‑up with vendors, external partners and internal stakeholders to keep priorities on track.
• Coordinate cross‑functional ownership, clarify next steps and resolve stalled work.
• Draft concise decision notes, meeting follow‑ups and executive communications.
• Maintain visibility of priorities, dependencies and risks across the CFO’s portfolio.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in a Chief of Staff, business operations, strategy, finance, people operations, consulting or similar executive‑support role.
• Proven track record supporting senior leaders through complex, cross‑functional execution.
• Strong business judgment across finance, people, operations and vendor management.
• Ability to translate ambiguous priorities into clear workstreams, owners and decisions.
• Excellent written communication for executive updates and decision notes.
• High discretion handling sensitive financial, personnel and vendor information.
• Comfort operating in fast‑paced environments where priorities shift quickly.
• Bias to action with strong follow‑through and confidence to push for clarity.
