Chief Legal Officer / General Counsel – Healthcare

About the role

Our rapidly growing multi‑site healthcare organization is looking for a Chief Legal Officer / General Counsel to lead all legal, compliance and risk functions across the United States. Reporting to the CEO and working closely with the executive team and Board, you will guide the company through a complex regulatory environment while supporting its growth and operational goals.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic legal counsel to the CEO, executive leadership team and Board of Directors.
• Oversee all legal affairs, including contractual agreements, privacy, ethics and litigation management.
• Develop and manage the company’s compliance program to meet federal and state healthcare regulations.
• Lead risk management initiatives, identifying and mitigating legal and regulatory risks.
• Balance legal requirements with commercial and operational priorities in a highly regulated healthcare setting.

Required profile

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active license in good standing with at least one U.S. state bar.
• 10+ years of progressive legal experience, including senior in‑house leadership roles.
• Extensive experience with healthcare regulatory and compliance matters.
• Proven track record leading legal and compliance functions in infusion therapy, specialty pharmacy, home health or related healthcare organizations.
