About the role

The University of Arkansas, Fayetteville is seeking a Chief Business Officer to lead the Division of Research and Innovation (VCRI). This senior position will provide strategic business leadership for the division and support the university’s mission of advancing research and innovation.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all business operations and financial management for VCRI.
• Develop and execute strategic plans that align with university goals.
• Foster partnerships with industry, government, and academic stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with university policies and external regulations.

Required profile

• Current University of Arkansas System employee (including student employees and graduate assistants) eligible to apply via Workday.
• Proven senior leadership experience in business administration, preferably within a research or academic environment.
• Strong understanding of strategic planning, financial oversight, and partnership development.
