Chef de Cuisine – Task Force

About the role

The Task Force Chef de Cuisine will work closely with the Executive Chef at The Westin at Frenchman's Reef, overseeing food preparation, kitchen operations, and pantry management in a luxury Caribbean resort.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate kitchen, pantry, and storeroom staff.
• Purchase, requisition, and manage inventory of ingredients, supplies, and equipment.
• Participate in menu planning, portion control, and cost management.
• Oversee stewarding to ensure cleanliness of kitchen areas and equipment.
• Ensure food quality, preparation standards, and presentation meet brand expectations.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years cooking experience and at least 2 years kitchen management experience.
• Minimum 2 years banquet chef experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
• Food/Beverage Service Worker Permit where applicable.
• College degree or certification in culinary or hospitality field preferred.
