Chef de Cuisine – Luxury Resort

About the role

The Chef de Cuisine will work closely with the Executive Chef to lead food preparation, kitchen, pantry, and storeroom teams at The Westin at Frenchman's Reef, delivering world‑class hospitality in a tropical resort setting.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate activities of kitchen, pantry, and storeroom personnel.
• Purchase, requisition, and manage inventory of ingredients, supplies, and equipment.
• Participate in menu planning, portion control, and cost management.
• Oversee stewarding to ensure cleanliness of kitchen and equipment.
• Ensure quality standards for food preparation and presentation.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years cooking experience and at least 2 years kitchen management experience.
• Minimum 2 years banquet chef experience preferred.
• Food/Beverage Service Worker Permit where applicable.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• College degree or certification in culinary or hospitality field preferred.
