Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) – Full Time

About the role

The University of Miami/UHealth SoleMia Department of Anesthesiology is seeking a full‑time Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join its clinical team. The CRNA will collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other medical professionals to deliver safe and effective anesthesia for a variety of procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Perform pre‑operative assessments, prepare patients, and administer anesthesia under the direction of an anesthesiologist.
• Monitor patients’ vital signs, airway, and pulmonary status throughout the procedure.
• Document anesthesia notes, manage patient recovery, and address immediate post‑operative needs.
• Conduct pre‑ and post‑anesthesia patient visits and respond to emergency situations with appropriate airway and life‑support techniques.
• Prepare and administer local, intravenous, spinal, and other anesthetic solutions following established protocols.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in a relevant field.
• Current CRNA certification and state licensure.
• Experience working in a collaborative, multidisciplinary surgical environment.
• Ability to evaluate medical histories and determine appropriate anesthesia methods.
