Certified or Lead Teacher – Early Childhood (Hourly)

About the role

This hourly position is for a Certified or Lead Teacher at the Early Childhood Education Laboratory Preschool. The teacher will care for and educate infants, toddlers, or preschool‑aged children in a safe, creative learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and implement daily programs and Developmentally Appropriate Practice (DAP) activities under the Admin Team’s direction.
• Maintain a clean, orderly classroom, rotate learning materials, and ensure smooth routines and transitions.
• Document student progress for TS Gold portfolios, submit weekly plans, and encourage parent involvement.
• Communicate regularly with families, complete conference forms, and respond promptly via the school communication platform.
• Collaborate with administrators and external agencies on individual child goals and address behavioral or academic concerns.

Required profile

• Certified teacher qualified to work with infants, toddlers, or preschool children.
• Experience planning and delivering Reggio Emilia‑inspired activities.
• Strong ability to maintain a positive classroom environment using appropriate guidance strategies.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills for family partnerships.
