Certified Nursing Assistant – Patient Care

About the role

Join BAYADA’s Assistive Care team as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) providing one‑on‑one support to adults in their homes across Huntersville and surrounding areas. You will follow a nurse‑written care plan to help clients stay safe, independent, and comfortable.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, toileting, and nail care.
• Provide household support including light housekeeping, laundry, and bed making.
• Prepare meals, feed clients, and encourage range‑of‑motion exercises.
• Help with ambulation, transfers, and use of mechanical lifting devices.
• Give medication reminders and perform basic vital sign checks.

Required profile

• At least one year of work experience in a caregiving setting.
• Completed a recognized CNA training program and hold current CNA certification.
• Strong empathy, patience, kindness, and respect for clients.
• Ability to travel to assigned client homes and maintain reliable attendance.
