Certified Nursing Assistant

About the role

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants to provide compassionate, in‑home care to adults across the Tri‑County area of South Carolina. You will work one‑on‑one with clients, supporting daily activities and helping them maintain independence.

Key responsibilities

• Follow a written plan of care created by a registered nurse.
• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, toileting, and nail care.
• Provide household support including light housekeeping, laundry, and bed making.
• Prepare meals, feed clients, and encourage proper nutrition.
• Support range‑of‑motion exercises and ambulation, using mechanical lifting devices when needed.
• Offer medication reminders and perform basic vital‑sign checks (temperature, pulse, respiration).

Required profile

• At least one year of hands‑on caregiving experience, a Home Health Aide certificate, or a valid CNA license.
• Reliable transportation to travel to clients’ homes.
• Demonstrated empathy, patience, kindness, and respect for clients.
• Commitment to delivering care with compassion, excellence, and reliability.

Required skills

• Basic caregiving techniques for personal hygiene and mobility assistance.
• Ability to follow care plans and document observations.
