About the role

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides basic patient care under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse in an inpatient telemetry unit. The role supports patient safety, observes patient status, and communicates changes to nursing staff.

Key responsibilities

Maintain a clean and safe patient care environment and adhere to all policies and procedures.
Observe patients continuously, report changes in behavior or status, and intervene as needed to ensure safety.
Document patient‑related tasks accurately and communicate care needs with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.

Required profile

Current state CNA certification and ability to obtain BLS and CPI certifications within 30 days of hire.
High school diploma or equivalent; hospital and telemetry experience preferred.
Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, holidays, and on‑call availability.

Required skills

Proficiency with computers, software, and web‑based applications.
Effective verbal and written communication for interacting with patients, families, and staff.
