Certified Med Tech (Full-Time and Part-Time)

About the role

Monarch Communities (Monarch/Brandywine) is hiring a Certified Med Tech in Pennington, New Jersey, for both full-time and part-time positions. The role supports residents' medication needs and care plans under the supervision of the registered nurse, with a stated salary of $25.00 per hour.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and/or assist with self-administration of prescribed medication to residents and maintain related medical records under the supervision of the RN
• Complete the required annual medication training per state requirements
• Provide resident care so that care needs are met according to each resident's care plan
• Maintain accurate, complete medical records and written documentation in line with federal, state, certification, legal and ethical standards
• Ensure the comfort, privacy and dignity of residents during service delivery
• Attend all scheduled in-service training and comply with federal, state, local regulations and community policies
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required profile

• Current NJ Medication Aid Certification and a NJ CNA or HHA Certification
• At least six months of experience working with seniors in assisted living, home health, hospital or long-term care
• Able to work weekends
• Physical ability to lift or carry up to 50 lbs and support residents intermittently, using proper body mechanics
