Certified Home Health Aide – 4‑8 Hour Day Shift in Suffolk

About the role

Provide compassionate, reliable in‑home care for clients in Suffolk County on a 4‑8 hour day shift. Immediate openings are available for certified aides who can start quickly.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, toileting, and oral feeding.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks including laundry, meal preparation, and bed making.
• Support mobility through transfers, ambulation assistance, and range‑of‑motion exercises.
• Monitor vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration) and assist with medication administration.

Required profile

• Minimum one year of relevant work experience.
• Current Home Health Aide certification.
• Availability for interview, orientation, and immediate start.

Required skills

• Competence in personal care tasks (bathing, grooming, toileting).
• Ability to perform light housekeeping and meal preparation.
• Basic knowledge of vital sign checks and medication assistance.
