Analytical Scientist – Pharmaceutical Analysis

About the role

The Analytical Scientist will develop stability‑indicating methods and conduct routine laboratory analysis for pharmaceutical and dietary supplement products using a range of analytical instruments.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and validate stability‑indicating methods for APIs and dietary supplements.
• Perform assay, content uniformity, dissolution, in‑process blend, and blend uniformity testing.
• Generate method validation protocols, reports, and transfer documentation.
• Conduct performance qualification (PQ) on instruments and troubleshoot analytical issues.
• Provide technical training and support to new employees and other departments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry/analytical chemistry with 4‑5 years pharmaceutical experience, or Master’s/PhD with 3‑4 years experience.
• Knowledge of USP and FDA requirements.
• Ability to prepare documentation and communicate results concisely.

Required skills

• Instrumentation: HPLC, UPLC, ICP, GC, FT‑IR, UV‑Vis, Dissolution, pH, TOC, Karl Fischer.
• Software: Empower 1‑3, EZ Chrome Elite, WindLab, ChemStation, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.
