Certified Home Care Home Health Aide – 4‑12 hr Day Shift

About the role

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a Certified Home Health Aide for short‑hour day shifts (4‑12 hours) in Nassau County and Queens. The position offers flexible scheduling and a supportive environment for qualified aides.

Key responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, toileting, and oral feeding.
• Provide light housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation, and bed making.
• Support range‑of‑motion exercises, transfers, and use of mechanical lifting devices.
• Perform vital sign checks and medication assistance.

Required profile

• Active Home Health Aide certification in good standing.
• Minimum one year of related work experience.
• Current physical exam and blood work.
• Availability for interview/orientation and immediate start.

Required skills

• Basic caregiving skills for daily living activities.
• Ability to perform light housekeeping and meal preparation.
• Competence in vital sign monitoring and medication assistance.
