About the role
The Center Quality Manager leads quality assurance activities at our donor center, ensuring compliance with SOPs, cGMP, and regulatory guidelines. Reporting to the Regional Performance Manager, you will work closely with Corporate Quality Assurance and the Center Director to maintain a high‑quality, audit‑ready environment.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain compliance with SOPs, current Good Manufacturing Procedures (cGMP), and all applicable regulations.
- Provide daily QA advice to management on donor suitability and product quality.
- Perform final QA review and release of product shipments and related documentation.
- Collaborate on audit responses and ensure audits are closed within required timeframes.
- Conduct staff observations, equipment quality checks, and release equipment/supplies for use.
- Quarantine and destroy unsuitable product, manage sample and product shipment reviews.
- Assist with non‑conformance, CAPA reporting, documentation, and investigations.
- Support other duties as assigned, including equipment maintenance reviews.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences or related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least three years of experience in a cGMP environment, preferably with plasma or whole blood.
- Supervisory experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to work day/evening hours, weekends, holidays, and extended shifts.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lb and sit/stand for extended periods.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
What we offer
- Base salary $50‑55K per year plus up to 25% monthly bonus, total compensation up to $70K.
