CDL‑A Truck Driver – Linehaul (Home Daily)

About the role

R+L Carriers is seeking experienced CDL‑A Class drivers for linehaul routes operating out of Des Moines, IA. Drivers will pull van or double trailers between service centers and turn‑point locations while returning home each night.

Key responsibilities

• Operate 53‑foot van trailers or double trailers on linehaul routes.
• Transport freight safely between R+L service centers and designated turn‑points.
• Maintain daily home‑return schedule.
• Ensure compliance with all DOT and safety regulations.

Required profile

• Valid CDL Class A license.
• At least 1 year of verifiable Class A driving experience within the past 3 years.
• Good driving record (no serious violations, ≤3 moving violations in 3 years).
• Age 23 (or 21 if meeting FMCSA transition criteria).
• Ability to pass pre‑employment DOT physical, drug screen, and road test.
• Physical ability to bend, lift, and stoop without difficulty.
