CDL‑A Truck Driver – Linehaul (3rd Shift)

About the role

R+L Carriers is seeking experienced CDL‑A Linehaul drivers for its Greensboro, NC service center. This full‑time, 3rd‑shift position offers drivers the opportunity to pull van or double trailers between service centers and turn‑point locations while returning home daily.

Key responsibilities

• Operate 53‑foot van trailers or double trailers on linehaul routes.
• Maintain safe driving practices and comply with all DOT regulations.
• Complete pre‑employment physicals, drug screens, and road tests.
• Handle loading, unloading, and securing freight as required.
• Maintain accurate logs and documentation for each trip.

Required profile

• Valid CDL Class A license.
• At least 1 year of verifiable Class A driving experience within the past 3 years.
• Clean driving record with no serious violations and no more than three moving violations in the past 3 years.
• Age 23 (or 21 with qualifying military transition).
• Ability to pass DOT physical, drug screen, and road test.
• Physical ability to bend, lift, and stoop without difficulty.
