CDL‑A Linehaul Truck Driver – Home Daily

About the role

R+L Carriers is seeking a CDL‑A Linehaul Truck Driver for its Reno, NV service center. You will operate 53‑foot van trailers or double trailers on scheduled runs between service centers and turn‑point locations, returning home each night.

Key responsibilities

• Pull and deliver van trailers up to 53’ or double trailers on linehaul routes.
• Maintain safe operation of equipment and compliance with DOT regulations.
• Complete pre‑employment DOT physical, drug screen, and road test.
• Adhere to company policies, maintain a clean driving record, and report any issues promptly.

Required profile

• Valid CDL Class A license.
• At least 1 year of verifiable Class A driving experience within the past 3 years.
• Good driving record (no serious violations, ≤ 3 moving violations in 3 years).
• Age 23 or 21 if meeting FMCSA military transition specifications.
• Ability to pass DOT physical, drug screen and road test.
• Physical ability to bend, lift and stoop without difficulty.

Required skills

• CDL Class A operation.
• Experience with double/triple trailer handling.
• Haz‑mat and tanker endorsement (preferred).
• LTL freight handling knowledge.
