CDL‑A City Delivery Driver – Baltimore

About the role

R+L Carriers is seeking a CDL‑A City Delivery (P&D) driver for its Baltimore service center. You will perform local freight pickup and delivery, returning to the terminal each day while enjoying a home‑every‑night schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Perform city‑wide pickup and delivery of freight with multiple stops per shift.
• Use scanning equipment to track shipments and interact directly with customers.
• Complete lift‑gate deliveries using an electric pallet jack when required.
• Return to the Baltimore terminal daily after completing all stops.

Required profile

• Valid CDL Class A license with at least 1 year of verifiable Class A driving experience within the past 3 years.
• Clean driving record (MVR/PSP) with no serious violations and no more than three moving violations in the past three years.
• Age 23 (or 21 if meeting FMCSA military transition criteria).
• Ability to pass a pre‑employment DOT physical, drug screen, and road test.
• Physical ability to bend, lift, and stoop safely.
• Dependable and able to operate equipment safely at all times.
