About the role

R+L Carriers is seeking Class A Linehaul Drivers to transport freight between service centers and turn‑point locations. Drivers pull van trailers up to 53’ or double trailers and return home each night, earning $0.78 per mile.

Key responsibilities

• Operate van or double trailers safely on assigned routes.
• Transport freight between R+L Carriers service centers and turn‑point locations.
• Maintain compliance with DOT regulations and company safety policies.
• Complete pre‑employment physicals, drug screens, and road tests.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any issues.

Required profile

• Valid CDL Class A license.
• At least 1 year of verifiable Class A driving experience within the past 3 years.
• Clean driving record with no more than three moving violations in the past 3 years.
• Age 23 (or 21 with FMCSA military transition specifications).
• Ability to pass DOT physical, drug screen, and road test.
• Physical ability to bend, lift, and stoop without difficulty.
• Dependable and able to operate equipment safely at all times.

Required skills

• CDL Class A certification.
• Haz‑mat endorsement (preferred).
• Doubles/Triples endorsement (preferred).
