CCTV Technician I

About the role
ITC Defense is looking for a CCTV Technician I to support the U.S. Navy/Air Force Child Youth Programs (CYP) CCTV Lifecycle Support Service. The role involves installing, configuring, and troubleshooting surveillance and access control systems across both domestic and overseas locations, with up to 75% travel.
Key responsibilities
- Provide day‑to‑day operational support for CCTV, IP video surveillance, and electronic access control systems in CYP facilities.
- Install, configure, and test IP cameras, VMS software, access control devices, and related IT equipment in Windows and UNIX environments.
- Monitor live and recorded video feeds, system health dashboards, and storage capacity, reporting any performance issues.
- Troubleshoot cameras, servers, workstations, network connections, and access control components under supervision.
- Assist with system commissioning, including camera alignment, video quality verification, and functional testing.
- Perform routine and emergency maintenance, software updates, and system checks.
- Maintain accurate documentation, logs, and configuration records.
- Support end‑users with basic training and assistance.
Required profile
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Ability to travel up to 75% domestically and internationally.
- At least one year of experience with computerized systems, network protocols, and Windows/UNIX operating systems.
- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment, pull cable, climb structures, and use hand/power tools.
