About the role
Parsons is seeking a Physical Security Specialist to design, maintain, and certify security measures for Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIFs). The role ensures compliance with federal standards and supports the Federal Solutions team delivering critical security services to U.S. government customers.
Key responsibilities
- Design and maintain security measures for SCIFs.
- Certify compliance with federal standards such as ICD 705 for physical security, access control, and intrusion detection systems.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to verify SCIF integrity.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to address security vulnerabilities and implement corrective actions.
- Provide training on SCIF protocols and manage documentation for accreditation and compliance.
Required profile
- Active Top Secret SCI with polygraph clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of relevant experience.
- Proven experience in physical security, SCIF management, or related fields.
- Strong knowledge of federal standards such as ICD 705.
- Exceptional organizational and problem‑solving abilities.
