Category Leadership Manager

About the role

The Category Leadership Manager (CLM) will join Constellation Brands' Category Leadership team in Los Angeles. You will be responsible for space management, category analysis and retailer collaboration to drive revenue and profit across our beer, wine and spirits portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Lead space management projects for assigned customers, applying shopper insights and standardized strategies.
• Conduct space analysis, assortment recommendations and planogram changes to improve revenue and shopping convenience.
• Partner with sales teams and retailers to align priorities, support meetings and guide reset decisions.
• Manage execution methods, data accuracy, schematic archives and post‑implementation reporting.
• Prepare category reviews, analyze retailer, syndicated and internal data, and identify growth opportunities.
• Support annual business plans, joint business planning and business planning meetings.
• Track initiatives, update customer scorecards and report outcomes.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of space management experience.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to filter data, question quality and integrate insights.
• Ability to manage high work volumes independently while maintaining accuracy.
• Proactive, collaborative and adaptable to change.

Required skills

• Expert knowledge of JDA or Apollo systems.
• Familiarity with IRI and Nielsen data outputs.
