About the role
The Category Developer is the sales lead for an assigned spirits portfolio within a targeted on‑premise account base in Denver. The role focuses on increasing share and velocity of the category through brand activations, sell‑in to customers and sell‑out to consumers.
Key responsibilities
- Drive sales and marketing goals for the assigned category and brands.
- Research trends and present new products, conducting monthly business reviews.
- Plan and execute high‑end consumer activations within key accounts.
- Provide real‑time market insights to accelerate growth.
- Lead, organize and report field intelligence for the territory.
- Collaborate with on‑premise and retail sales teams to develop creative solutions.
- Develop and deliver training modules for sales teams, customers and suppliers.
- Establish merchandising objectives and POS needs for each account.
- Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and act as the go‑to consultant.
- Participate in supplier‑specific sales calls, workshops and industry education.
Required profile
- Current associate eligible to apply through the internal Career Portal.
- Willingness to attend a two‑week in‑person Academy Category Training.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and a safe, clean working environment.
