Cataract Account Manager (Surgical Field Sales)

About the role

Alcon is seeking a Cataract Account Manager to drive sales of surgical ophthalmic products across an assigned territory. You will work within the Sales & Sales Support function, building strong relationships with eye‑care professionals and ensuring customers receive the best possible support and product knowledge.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve sales targets by promoting and selling Alcon cataract products through a variety of sales activities.
• Develop and nurture relationships with key opinion leaders, high‑volume users, and new business prospects.
• Implement a territory sales plan, visiting customers frequently to provide product demonstrations and support.
• Organise events, meetings and training sessions to update customers on product offerings, pricing and services.
• Conduct competitive market analysis to protect and grow Alcon’s market share.
• Provide timely reports and maintain accurate documentation of sales activities in company systems.
• Lead local team activities, coordinate meetings, and ensure professional presentation of the brand.

Required profile

• Proven experience in medical or ophthalmic sales, preferably at a senior associate level.
• Strong ability to build and maintain professional relationships with customers and key stakeholders.
• Self‑motivated with a results‑driven mindset and a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross‑functional teams.
