Casual Line Attendant

About the role

Amentum is looking for a Casual Line Attendant in the Williamsburg area of Virginia. The line attendant prepares, presents and serves several variations of food items to patrons, providing friendly, responsive support to create an exceptional dining experience. The goal is exceptional guest service while supporting co-workers.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the line in a timely manner
• Prepare coffee, decaf coffee and iced tea as needed, and supply ice to fill servers' coolers
• Maintain clean server line areas, keeping surfaces, utensils and containers consistently cleaned and organized
• Monitor guests' dining experience and respond promptly and courteously to their requests
• Perform side work at the start and end of each shift, assist co-workers and fill in as needed
• Work other jobs as assigned

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; government-issued clearance at time of application
• Valid driver's license
• 1+ years of experience as a food service worker, or previous experience as a busboy, washer, waiter, cook or similar
• Ability to stand and move for an entire shift, bend, kneel and lift up to 25 pounds
• Able to work early mornings, nights and weekends
• Ability to read and follow standardized recipes and know proper food handling procedures

• ServeSafe certification preferred
